Entries to the 2010 International Trade Awards program are initially checked by the Awards Team who check that each applicant business meets the minimum eligibility criteria and have completed all required sections of the application form.
The judging panel will identify a shortlist of 12 business from each region across the UK who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in international trade. These businesses will be invited to attend a regional presentation, during which one of the 12 shortlisted businessed will be announced the Regional winner. Each organisation reaching finalist status will then be invited to the prestigious UK final and formal presentation, where three national business category awards shall be announced.
The judging panel comprises of experts in international trade, and representatives of sponsors. Competition for these awards is expected to be strong and the panel will be maintaining a high standard throughout the judging process.
Chairman of the judges is Ian Campbell OBE, Consultant editor for www.internationaltrade.co.uk and ex-Director General of the Institute of Export.
