How to Enter the 2010 International Trade Awards

The 2010 International Trade Awards are open for entries from Thursday 15th July until January 2011


Businesses are invited to enter one of 12 regional heats to compete for a regional title. To find out the closing date for your region click here


Businesses that are based in the UK engaged in export, import, outward or inward investment, regardless of industry sector and that meets the Eligibility criteria can enter the 2010 International Trade Awards.


Entering the awards is simple. You can now submit your entry online, or request an application form and send it to the awards team.


To enter the awards follow these six simple steps:


1. COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION FORM


Enter online at www.internationaltradeawards.co.uk and follow the instructions or to request a print friendly copy of the application form with information and guidelines email awards@internationaltrade.co.uk


2. SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION FORM


Complete and submit your application form by the entry closing date for your region.


3. CONFIRMATION OF APPLICATION RECEIPT


Online applicants will receive an automated email confirming receipt of your entry immediately. If you have emailed or posted your application form, you will be notified within 5 working days of receipt.


4. REGIONAL SHORTLIST IS ANNOUNCED


Once you have submitted your entry it will go forward to the judges who will shortlist 12 businesses per region. Shortlisted businesses will be invited to attend the regional presentation.


5. REGIONAL WINNER IS ANNOUNCED


One business from the regional shortlist of 12 businesses will be announced as the Regional International Trade Award winner at the presentation lunch hosted locally by the sponsors.


6. REGIONAL FINALISTS INVITED TO UK FINAL


Each Regional Finalist shall be invited to attend the prestigious UK final held at the House of Lords, London, in Spring 2010 where they will compete to win one of three national International Trade Award categories.
