The 2010 International Trade Awards, sponsored by Santander Corporate Banking is the only UK wide business awards to exclusively recognise the success of exporters, importers and those trading overseas.
Despite the challenges posed by current global economic conditions, UK companies are still competing on the international stage and the 2010 International Trade Awards celebrate these ventures and successes.
Who can enter?
Businesses from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales involved in import, export, outward investment or inward investment and who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to compete in regional heats, resulting in 12 Regional Finalists from across UK.

Award Categories
The 12 regional finalists will be invited to the UK final at a prestigious Gala Luncheon and Awards Presentation at The House of Lords in Spring 2011 where winners of three national award categories winners will be announced.
- Small to Medium Company of the Year for International Trade
Awarded to the company who shows outstanding International Trade achievement by a company with total annual sales not exceeding £10 million.
- The Eversheds Excellence in Innovation Award sponsored by Eversheds LLP
Awarded to the company who shows outstanding innovation through the use of products, practices and services in the growth of their business.
- The Santander International Trade Company of the Year
sponsored by Santander Corporate Banking
Awarded to the company who the judges feel have achieved outstanding achievement in International Trade.

Regional finalists and over 100 guests join the UK Final, a luncheon at the House of Lords. Each of the finalists also engaged in a video interview that will be hosted online at Fresh Business Thinking TV
The UK final presentation will take place at the House of Lords in Spring 2011, hosted by Lord Haskel, deputy speaker of the House of Lords and commentator on International Trade Affairs. The formal luncheon will feature a keynoe speaker, who is previous years have included: Julie Meyer - Online Dragon and listed one of Wall Street Journal's top 30 most powerful women in Europe, Lord Davies of Abersoch, Minister of State for Trade and Investment; and Director-General of the British Chambers of Commerce, David Frost.
